Meatloaf Photostory

Woof! Hi, It’s Julie’s dog, Meatloaf, here with the story of me and the table of food!

If you don’t already know I’m a sweet, adorable bulldog who LOVES food and playing.  My favorite hobby is raiding the pantry with my twin buddy Candy, who is Molly’s dog.  I will do ANYTHING (and I mean anything) for a delicious snack.  And that is what today’s photo shoot is about :-)!

It was a Tuesday and I was sniffing around in the kitchen.  I had peeked in Molly’s bag for a sandwich but didn’t find anything. *whimpers*

Then I spotted the table…

and it was covered in food!!!!! Heaven!

I couldn’t reach the top.

Then an idea popped into my head – take the bag and stand on it!

I still couldn’t reach it. 😦

I was almost there!

My legs wobbled and I …

toppled to the ground! :-0

OWWWW!

But I wasn’t ready to give up.

I snuck back into the bedroom and dragged Nibbles bed into the kitchen.  My new plan: put the bag on the bed, then hop on top of it and jump onto the table! So simple! Am I not a genius doggy?!

But I still didn’t give up.  I’m a very stick-to-it kind of doggy, especially when there’s food involved 🙂

My fourth try:

My fifth try:

Then the miracle happened – I actually did it!!!!!!!

I was almost onto the table…

Then on!!!!!! FOOD TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But the bag had fallen down.  I had no way down :-0

Who cares?! The food was super yummy!!!!

Then the worst happened… Julie showed up.

“AHHHHHHHHH” Julie screamed at the top of her lungs.

DSC_0261.jpg

“BAD MEATLOAF!!!!” Yikes! I scrambled.

DSC_0262.jpg

“Bad, bad meatloaf,” Julie reprimanded.

I was in the dog house!

Julie came to get me off the table.

I didn’t need any help. I turned tail and ran!

Down the chair and into the bedroom.

I hid under Julie’s little shawl thingy.

Julie realized I wasn’t truly at fault because she had left the door to the kitchen unlocked.

“It’s ok Meatloaf,” Julie called as she entered the room.

She began to pet my head! Ahhh… the Julie touch 🙂

And so I had a great day! Great food, great pets, what could make my doggy day better?!

Woof!
